About Grace Doerfler (me!)
I am a multidisciplinary designer and creative leader specializing in art direction, branding, web design, and visual storytelling. With experience across digital, print, and photography, I create thoughtful, strategy-driven work that balances creativity with functionality. My background in fine art and museum studies informs a collaborative, detail-oriented approach rooted in curiosity, accessibility, and connection.
After years as both a teammate and coach in high-level water polo, I’ve developed a thoughtful and empathetic approach to leadership. My experiences leading in different environments, from work, to captaining a Division I water polo team, to supporting teammates during an Outward Bound expedition, shaped my belief that strong leadership starts with understanding people. I value taking the time to learn what motivates others, where their strengths lie, and how they work best together. To me, effective leadership means meeting people where they are while also knowing when to challenge and encourage them to grow. Patience, listening, integrity and thoughtful guidance are at the center of how I mentor, collaborate, and build trust within a team.

Life Beyond Work
Outside of work, I stay grounded through a mix of creativity, movement, and time with the people (and pets) I love. I share my home with my partner and our two cats (Mama and Mini), and spending time with family is a big part of what keeps me connected and balanced. In my free time, I paint, play pickleball, and stay active in the local tennis community. I also enjoy getting hands-on with pottery when I can, and I’m always up for a good trivia night or a bit of karaoke (my go-to song is anything ABBA).
